Terms and Definitions

These Sponsorship Terms are definitions to explain the sponsorship process

Sponsorship: An association that provides a more unique advertising opportunity than afforded by typical advertisements, using brand marketing to influence target markets

Primary Sponsor: The foremost sponsor, who receives premium advertising placement

Associate Sponsor: A secondary sponsor, who receives significant advertising placement

Partner Sponsor: A supporting sponsor, who receives limited advertising placement

Brand Interaction: A combination of brand building and direct response marketing

Market Activation Program: Marketing activities, aside from rights fees, that augment the sponsorship investment. These activities may include: media advertising, promotions, operational support and client hospitality
